Roskomnadzor requires TikTok to remove calls to participate in protests

This is stated on the website of the Russian department.

"Based on the request of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation, a notification has been sent to the social network TikTok about the need to remove information that involves minors in illegal actions," the statement said.

According to Roskomnadzor, TikTok distributes materials calling for underage users of the social network to participate in illegal protest mass events. 

Earlier, Roskomnadzor drew up eight protocols against media-foreign agents in connection with the violation of labeling rules.
