He was the first to be indicted.

To date, he is the only one to have been imprisoned.

Tuesday evening, the 22-year-old man suspected of being one of the organizers of the Lieuron rave party, south of Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine), was kept in pre-trial detention.

According to

Ouest-France

, the judge of freedoms and detention ruled in favor of keeping the young man in detention because of the risk of “fraudulent consultation”.

It is this same reason that the public prosecutor Philippe Astruc had invoked to request his imprisonment in early January.

Aged 22, this man was living in a truck installed on the land of a friend in Iffendic, when he was arrested by the gendarmes.

His criminal record is clean.

The man had admitted to having "given a hand" to the organizers of the New Year party which had gathered 2,400 people in an isolated hangar.

The holding of this wild party in the midst of the coronavirus epidemic had caused a scandal.

Since the events, four people have been indicted but only one has been placed in pre-trial detention.

The others are under judicial supervision and have testified to their incomprehension, believing that they would "all be released".

Two investigating judges were mobilized on this file.

Since the imprisonment of the young man, the middle of the party tries to be heard to demand his release, ensuring that the truck driver "is not at all one of the organizers".
