Saarbrücken (dpa / lrs) - The number of registered new infections with the coronavirus in Saarland has risen by 203 within one day.
A total of 23,894 people in the state have been infected so far, the Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday in Saarbrücken (as of 4 p.m.).
The reported number of people who died from or with the virus rose by 14 to 671.
According to the ministry, 1,814 people are currently infected.
289 would be treated as inpatients, 86 of them in intensive care units.
The 7-day incidence, i.e. the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past 7 days, was 112.6 nationwide.
