Washington / Los Angeles (AP) - Pop musician Lady Gaga (34) sends her Instagram fans a message on the evening before the inauguration of the future US President Joe Biden and his Vice President Kamala Harris from Washington.

“I pray that tomorrow will be a day of peace for all Americans.

A day for love, not hate, ”wrote the singer on Tuesday (local time) to a photo of herself, dressed in white, in the rotunda of the Capitol.

"Love, from the Capitol," noted the star.

Last week it became known that Lady Gaga will sing the US national anthem "Star Spangled Banner" at the ceremony on Wednesday.

The 34-year-old ("Poker Face") had already supported Biden with an appearance at the end of his election campaign.

Further star appearances are planned after the swearing-in of Biden and Harris on a live broadcast special on television.

Oscar winner Tom Hanks (64, “Philadelphia”) is to host the TV special “Celebrating America”.
