Bamberg (dpa / lby) - The public prosecutor has closed the investigation against an employee of the security service in the anchor center in Bamberg.

A spokesman for the Bamberg public prosecutor said on Wednesday that there was no evidence of dangerous or willful bodily harm.

The Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation reported on it first.

The Bavarian Refugee Council reported the employee after cell phone recordings appeared.

The video from February 2019 is said to show how the man violently injured a refugee in the head.

The resident of the anchor center is said to have been detained by several guards.

"The video was evaluated by an expert," said the public prosecutor.

"On the basis of the expert opinion, an actual knee strike against the head is not proven with the necessary certainty."
