Kiel (dpa / lno) - Prime Minister Daniel Günther (CDU) has been critical of the supply of Schleswig-Holstein with corona vaccine.

"The vaccine is currently not running out," said Günther on Wednesday in a special session of the state parliament.

But the reliability of the deliveries is not as desired.

Health Minister Heiner Garg (FDP) was angry about the current situation on the sidelines of the meeting.

Instead of the originally planned 195,000 vaccine doses from the manufacturers Biontech and Pfizer, the country received 5,000 doses less in the first quarter.

"That alone is frustrating for the people and also for the health ministers."

What annoys him most of all is that the announcement of temporarily lower vaccine deliveries was "extremely scarce". Currently, people in the vaccination centers and in the hospitals were getting their second vaccinations. This also applies to the nursing homes. According to the Ministry of Health, the Schleswig-Holsteiners cannot book vaccination appointments for initial vaccinations in the vaccination centers for the time being.
