According to the city of Yokohama, next year's city tax revenue is expected to remain at 795 billion yen, a decrease of approximately 49 billion yen from the initial budget for this year due to factors such as stagnant corporate activities due to the effects of the new coronavirus.



On the other hand, next year as well, it is necessary to prevent the spread of infection, support small and medium-sized enterprises, and secure a medical care provision system, and the city has increased the total amount of the general account by more than 200 billion yen from this year for the initial budget for next year. We are adjusting to a record high of 1,980.0 billion yen.



In addition to grants from the national and prefectural governments, we will issue about 170 billion yen of municipal bonds, as well as withdraw funds and review businesses to generate the shortage of financial resources.



For IR = integrated resort facilities, including casinos that Yokohama City aims to attract, 360 million yen has been allocated as expenses for selecting businesses and formulating area development plans.



The city of Yokohama will submit this budget to the city council, which will open next month.
