Lübeck (dpa / lno) - Third division soccer team VfB Lübeck has initially released its attacker Patrick Hobsch for a few days.

As the club announced on Tuesday, the 26-year-old should return to team training for the bottom of the table on next Monday at the earliest.

The club did not provide any further details.

One of the press releases mentioned incidents "that cannot be brought into line with the team's principles and values."

The son of the former Bundesliga professional Bernd Hobsch should get another chance at the Hanseatic League: “Patrick made a mistake.

We talked to him about that.

But he is a positive guy and can make sure that he plays a different role again in the future.

The door is not closed for him, »said sports director Rocco Leeser.

Hobsch has scored two goals for VfB in eight games this season.

The substitutes Dren Feka, Jamie Shalom and Tim Weißmann are also no longer part of the VfB training group for the time being.

"The only reasons for this are sporting," said head coach Rolf Landerl.

"We want to increase the quality of the training again and bring even greater concentration and seriousness to the field."

The 20-year-old attacker Cyrill Akono (Mainz 05) practiced in Lübeck on Tuesday.

Sports director Leeser: "Whether he will be an issue for a commitment is open."
