After storming the US Capitol, a young participant is said to have unsuccessfully offered the laptop of the chairman of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, to the Russian secret service.

This emerges from a criminal complaint from the Federal Police FBI on Sunday evening.

In it, the authorities request the arrest of the 22-year-olds for "violent entry and disorderly behavior" in the Capitol.

According to the FBI, the accused is from Pennsylvania.

Her whereabouts are currently unknown.

Several pictures from January 6 would show the woman near Pelosi's office.

According to a witness, the woman wanted to send the laptop to a friend in Russia, who was supposed to sell it to the Russian foreign intelligence service SWR, the criminal complaint said.

The sale failed for unknown reasons.

The woman "still owns the computer or has destroyed it," the witness is quoted as saying.

The woman's mother identified a woman wearing glasses with brown hair in pictures on the Capitol as her daughter, the FBI document said.

She had traveled to Washington with her father.

After her return, she packed her things and told her mother that she was going to go "for a few weeks".

The FBI believes the 22-year-old has fled.

The FBI said it was still unclear whether a Pelosi laptop had been stolen at all.

The investigation is still ongoing.
