Pforzheim (dpa / lsw) - On the Autobahn 8 near Pforzheim, a truck driver noticed a traffic jam too late on Tuesday evening and crashed into another articulated lorry.
This was pressed by the impact against a third truck, the police said.
One of the three vehicles was pushed onto the guardrail and had to be lifted off with a crane.
The driver of the approaching truck was injured in the accident "moderate", it was said - he was taken to the hospital.
A car that was stuck in a traffic jam in front of the trucks was also damaged in the collision.
