China News Service, Beijing, January 20th (Guo Chaokai) At 0:25 on January 20th, Beijing time, China used the Long March IIIB carrier rocket (hereinafter referred to as the ChangsanB rocket) at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center to successfully put Tiantongyi No. 03 satellite was launched into space.

The satellite successfully entered the scheduled orbit, the mission was a complete success, and China's space launch has a good start in 2021.

The Tiantong-1 satellite mobile communication system is a satellite mobile communication system independently developed and constructed by China. It consists of a space segment, a ground segment and user terminals.

The Tiantong-1 03 satellite was developed by the China Academy of Space Technology. After being launched into orbit, it will form an integrated world-earth mobile communication network with the ground mobile communication system. Users in most waters of the Indian Ocean provide mobile communication services such as all-weather, all-day, stable and reliable voice, short message and data.

The Changsan B rocket for this launch mission was developed by the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology.

Zhang Yipu, the deputy chief designer of the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, told reporters that there are two main changes in the mission of the third-two rocket.

First, it is the first time that the instrument cabin is de-tasked.

In recent years, the Long Three A series of rockets have carried out de-mission design, and the rocket structure below the third stage has gradually achieved de-mission.

However, the diameters of the rocket fairings of the G2 and G3 configurations of the long three-two rocket are different, 4 meters and 4.2 meters respectively. There are still two configurations of the instrument bays that are docked with them, and there are differences in local conditions. Can only perform specific launch tasks.

Through a large number of simulations and ground verification tests, the developers unified the configuration of the instrument cabin and realized the task-oriented design.

Now, the rocket has been de-tasked from the instrument bay, the third stage, the second stage, and the first stage, which can be completely decoupled from the mission, and the rocket's mission adaptability is further improved.

The second is the first trial of the launch site Zhuyuan design system in the liquid rocket of the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology.

The system mainly includes a design module for targeting elements and a design module for wind compensation at the launch site.

Among them, the Aiming Zhuyuan design module has been officially used, eliminating the previous links of manual calculation and transferring through paper documents, fully realizing the automatic calculation and transfer of data, effectively avoiding the risk of human error and improving work efficiency.

With the strong support and cooperation of the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, the launch site wind compensation Zhuyuan design system has also been trialled.

The system involves many links. Currently, the launch site weather system, Zhuyuan design system, and flight software test system have been opened up through the Internet. After completion, it will effectively enhance the full automation of the design, generation, transmission and verification of the launch site wind compensation system. ability.

This mission is the 358th space flight of the Long March series of carrier rockets.
