Moscow however does not intend to heed the pro-Navalny requests from foreign leaders about its situation and has made it known that it does not fear protests in Russia.

No interference from abroad

The Kremlin spokesman, Dmitri Peskov, reports the Tass agency, was keen to emphasize Moscow's interest in having good relations with other countries, adding however that such relations cannot in any way be defined " from a single citizen "and that" it is a completely internal issue in Russia, we will not allow anyone to interfere ".

Peskov, denounced the "alarming appeals" of President Putin's main political opponent for his supporters to protest en masse against his detention.
