"Twenty-five students have tested positive and the Regional Health Agency (ARS) recommended Monday evening to close the establishment as a precaution for a week," said the chief of staff of the rector of the Academy of Clermont- Ferrand.
A fourth class of this establishment of 625 students, the Mortaix college, had already had to close Friday after the detection of several cases.
Monday, "about fifteen students were positive and the prefect of Puy-de-Dôme had taken a decree in the morning to close all fourth and third classes", according to the rectorate.
"Investigations were carried out on site by a team from the academy who tested around 250 students," he said.
