Kiel (dpa / lno) - The payment of November aid to cushion the corona crisis is progressing more slowly than planned in Schleswig-Holstein due to software problems.

The Ministry of Economic Affairs announced on Tuesday that around 10,000 applications had been processed by the time the federal government software bug was noticed last Friday.

That corresponds to a payout of around 13 million euros.

Almost 160 million euros have been requested.

The error has not yet been resolved.

According to information from the ministry, Hamburg is also affected.

Since Monday, processing in Schleswig-Holstein has continued after an interruption with additional manual effort.

Due to the software error, according to the ministry, some of the down payments made previously were not taken into account in the final payment.

«We hope that the error can be corrected quickly, we are now working on things by hand.

That takes longer, of course, and that is not in the interests of companies, ”said Minister of Economic Affairs Bernd Buchholz (FDP).

With the November aid, the federal government supports companies, self-employed people, clubs and other institutions that are particularly affected by the restrictions due to the corona pandemic.
