"In Svobodny, an emergency regime has been introduced ... The reason was freezing due to low street temperatures of the main water pipeline along Lesnaya Street, and therefore six apartment buildings and three social facilities were left without water supply," the statement said.

The administration clarifies that the problem arose on January 15, for three days the experts tried to restore the water supply, the residents were supplied with water twice a day.

“Taking into account the current situation, the only possible option is the construction of a new temporary water pipeline with a length of about 1.5 km,” the authorities said.

Earlier, more than 80 thousand people in the city of Kineshma, Ivanovo region, were left without hot water supply and heating due to a communal accident.
