In relation to the fact that a high school girl riding a city bus fell into a state of quadriplegia after falling into a state of quadriplegia, a sudden change of lanes while another vehicle was driving, the Blue House announced its position to strengthen the crackdown on car cutting.

Kang Jeong-soo, head of the Blue House Digital Communication Center today (19th) responded to the national petition for'Penalment of Perpetrators of Quadriplegia Traffic Accidents' in high school students.

At the time of the accident in December 2019, victim A, who was a senior in high school, got on a city bus and was heading for the back seat.

After a while, the bus suddenly stopped due to a vehicle suddenly jammed in front of him, and Mr. A was swept up to the coin box and bumped his head, causing a neck bone injury and a limb paralysis.

In the first trial, the prosecution sought four years in prison for the borrower of'cutting the sword', but the court sentenced him to a one-year imprisonment in consideration of lack of criminal penalties, and both the prosecution and borrower appealed.

In a petition posted in November of last year, Mr. B, the older sister of Mr. A, appealed, "I hope the perpetrators sincerely reflect on their sins and receive appropriate punishment."

"It is difficult to respond to the judiciary's own duties because a trial is in progress," said the head of the center. Said.

“We will also look at the safety of bus users,” he said. “The government requested local government heads to check safety facilities and strengthen safety training for workers so that unpleasant things such as this accident do not occur.”
