Earlier that evening, the Serbian Administration of Medicines and Medical Devices (ALIMS) announced that the agency had assessed and confirmed the quality, efficacy and safety of Chinese vaccines in accordance with all standards of the European Union and the World Health Organization. On the morning of January 16, 1 million doses of inactivated vaccines from Sinopharm arrived in Serbia, and it took less than 2 days from the time it was approved for use.
