According to the announcement by the Serbian Ministry of Health on the evening of January 18, the Minister of Health Loncar will inject the Chinese vaccine at the Serbian Institute of Public Health at 11 am on January 19, and he will be the first person to receive the Chinese vaccine in Serbia by then.

  Earlier that evening, the Serbian Administration of Medicines and Medical Devices (ALIMS) announced that the agency had assessed and confirmed the quality, efficacy and safety of Chinese vaccines in accordance with all standards of the European Union and the World Health Organization. The Chinese vaccines passed all necessary tests. Approved for use in Serbia.

  On the morning of January 16, 1 million doses of inactivated vaccines from Sinopharm arrived in Serbia, and it took less than 2 days from the time it was approved for use.
