Dörverden (dpa / lni) - Four adults and two children were injured, some seriously, in an accident in Dörverden in the Verden district on Tuesday.

An adult is in mortal danger, as the police announced.

According to the investigators' previous findings, a 28-year-old driver wanted to overtake a 40-year-old's car and collided with an oncoming tractor.

The 28-year-old was life-threateningly injured and flown to the hospital in a rescue helicopter, and his 25-year-old passenger was also injured.

The 40-year-old's car came off the road as a result of the collision of the other vehicles and hit a tree with the right side room.

The 37-year-old passenger and a girl on the right side of the back seat were injured so badly that they were brought to the clinic in a helicopter.

The 40-year-old and the boy who was sitting on the back seat on the left came to the hospital in an ambulance.

The police did not want to provide any details about the age of the children.

The girl is therefore a toddler, the boy over 10 years old.

The tractor driver was uninjured in the accident.

All vehicles had to be towed.

The police estimate the property damage at tens of thousands of euros.
