Several residents at Granåsgården fell ill with covid-19 - just a few days after the residents received the vaccine.

The municipality takes several measures to prevent more people from becoming infected.
The wards are isolated from each other and extra nursing staff work at the accommodation.
Prohibition of visits
At the request of Bengtsfors Municipality, the Public Health Agency has decided on a temporary restraining order that applies from 20 January to 9 February 2021. The decision covers all special housing for the elderly in the municipality.
This is after the Public Health Agency has been given powers by the government to decide on local visit bans on special housing for the elderly in cases where other measures are not sufficient to reduce the spread of covid-19.
