Los Angeles (AP) - Alicia Keys, Khalid, Mary J. Blige and other African American artists remember black victims of police violence and racism in a new video.

They call on US President-elect Joe Biden and Vice-President Kamala Harris to set up a commission to eradicate structural racism during the first hundred days of their term in office.

The artists remember, among others, Ahmaud Arbery, Rayshard Brooks and Breonna Taylor, all of whom were shot last year.

Arbery when he was jogging, Brooks after falling asleep in his car, and Taylor on a nightly police raid in their own apartment.

"In 2016, we created '23 ways you can be killed by being black in America, '" said Keys in the video published on Monday by the social video service NowThis Media.

"I can't believe that I'm back four years later with '17 more ways'", says the singer.

Reference is also made to George Floyd, whose brutal killing last May sparked national protests against racism and police violence.
