The tourism sector has been tough over the past year and foreign visitors are few, something that has hit the hotel chains hard.

In December 2019, Swedish hotels had revenues of over 1.3 billion, but a year later, revenues were less than a third as large.

- Some come here and do their job in France remotely while they can have a more normal life in Sweden, says Jade Delpy who is an exchange student from France.
