President-elect of the United States Joe Biden wants to quickly close the chapter of Donald Trump's mandate.

For this, he will take a series of decrees as soon as he comes to power in order to deal with several emergencies: climatic, health, and migration.

He promised to take urgent action.

Two days before his inauguration, the President-elect of the United States, Joe Biden, gave details of the decrees he intended to take upon coming to power.

The goal: quickly turn the page on Donald Trump's tumultuous tenure.

These decrees will "repair the damage of the Republican administration and move the country forward," argued the chief of staff of the future President Biden.

Among the priorities: the management of the health crisis, the United States approaching the threshold of 400,000 words of covid-19.

To speed up the immunization of Americans, Joe Biden is also betting on local vaccination centers, enhanced cooperation between the federal government and the states, and more prevention campaigns.

His administration wants to reach 100 million people in the first 100 days of Biden's mandate.

The climate emergency among the priorities

Another priority announced by the future administration: a radical change in migration policy.

Joe Biden provides for the cancellation of the "Muslim Ban", this travel ban for nationals from several countries with a Muslim majority.

A measure taken by Donald Trump at the start of his mandate.

Finally, more symbolically, Joe Biden will take a decree to fight against climate change from his first hours as President of the United States.

He thus plans to return to the Paris Agreement, which Donald Trump had left with a crash a few months after taking office.
