Erfurt (dpa / th) - A trial against a man who is said to have stored kilos of drugs in his girlfriend's apartment could come to an end today.

Both pleadings and a judgment are conceivable at the hearing, said a spokesman for the Erfurt Regional Court.

There, the now 37-year-old defendant has had to answer for the armed trafficking of narcotics in large quantities since autumn last year (Ref .: 8 KLs 820 Js 4107/20).

He is said to have bought 27 kilograms of amphetamine at the beginning of February last year and stored them in his girlfriend's apartment in Weimar. The man is said to have carried a firearm close at hand. When police searched the apartment a few days later, they found drugs and various weapons, according to the prosecution.
