Roads on Feldberg remain closed due to the risk of snow break

Bad Homburg (dpa / lhe) - On the Feldberg im Taunus, snow breaks and falling trees are still to be expected: Therefore, the area around the Feldberg will remain closed to traffic up to and including the next weekend (23/24 January), said the Hochtaunuskreis on Monday.

If there is a risk of snow breakage, trees are in danger of falling over due to a high load of snow and ice.

For the residents of the Schmitten community, however, there is a relief: L3004 Oberursel / Sandplacken is to be reopened on Tuesday night up to and including Friday.

The same applies to the L3025 from the Eselsheck connection on the B8 to Niederreifenberg.

At the weekend the streets would be closed again, it was said.
