18 January 2021 The Sanremo Festival will take place from 2 to 6 March.

Rai confirms the dates, explaining that work is being done so that the public can be in the presence of the Ariston.

The confirmation - explains a note from Viale Mazzini - came at the end of a meeting between the Rai top management of the structures involved in the organization of the event and the artistic director Amadeus, in the presence of the ad Fabrizio Salini.

Among the topics addressed during the meeting, the health and organizational protocol that will be submitted to the competent authorities in a short time in order to provide for a presence of the public in the stalls of the Ariston Theater.

Work on the public backbone of the event.

The most accredited hypothesis is the one already raised in recent days by an audience made up of health workers (doctors and nurses) already vaccinated and different every evening.

With the dual purpose of thanking those who worked and works on the front line at the daily risk of life during the pandemic and to reduce the risk of contagion.

A daily rotation is expected between operators from different areas of Liguria so that they can return to work or home in a short time.

On the front of the presence of the press, the ongoing effort is to try to guarantee the holding of press conferences in Sanremo but in compliance with distancing and other anti-contagion regulations.

The hypothesis we are working on is a very small presence of reporters: we are talking about a number under one hundred.

Very far from the more than a thousand of tradition, including press, radio and TV.

But even on the opening hours of any press room there would be more hypotheses.

However, the problem could also be solved through a system that allows remote voting.

All issues on which the organization of the festival is working to find a solution in a short time.
