- We have by helicopter noted well over 2000 trees that are on or dangerously close to power lines and that must be removed, says Eon's regional manager Lena Berglund in a press release.

About 50 repairers are out in the field during the day and take the help of snowmobiles and tracked vehicles.

A total of four helicopters will be up in the air both to inspect and to clear pipelines using a claw and saw blade.

It flies over Matfors and Kovland west of Sundsvall, Junsele and Graninge in Sollefteå municipality and Ullånger in Kramfors municipality.

Requests reporting

According to Eon, the clearing work will take several weeks before everything is completely fixed.

The electricity company also reminds that private individuals should not go near a low-hanging line.

It also calls for reporting of observations of low-hanging pipes and trees across pipe streets.

At a quarter to seven on Monday morning, only nine Eon customers in the county, all in Kramfors municipality, were without electricity.
