Mühltal (dpa / lhe) - After a fire in the living room of a family of four, their apartment in Mühltal (Darmstadt-Dieburg district) is initially uninhabitable.
The fire broke out on Sunday evening for previously unknown reasons, the police said.
When the rescue workers arrived, black smoke was already pouring out of the building - the family was going on an excursion at that time.
She only came back during the extinguishing work and has now found shelter with friends.
The cause of the fire was initially unclear, the police estimated the property damage at around 80,000 euros.
