Beselich (dpa / lhe) - An overturned fruit truck caused traffic obstructions on the winter-slippery federal road 49 in Beselich in Central Hesse.

Helpers had to fetch a load of mandarins from the semi-trailer on Sunday night in order to be able to recover the vehicle, the police said.

The driver of the truck and his passenger were slightly injured when the semi-trailer between Obertiefenbach and Heckholzhausen got out of control, stood sideways and overturned.

Both men were still able to get out of the demolished driver's cab on their own, the police said.

The truck had to be recovered with a truck crane.

According to initial estimates, there was damage of 160,000 euros, the mandarins must be disposed of according to the information.
