Cologne (dpa / lnw) - After a woman (27) and a man (38) with serious injuries were discovered in a Cologne courtyard, a homicide commission is investigating the case.

The police reported on Sunday.

There are indications "of a possibly existing, attempted homicide to the disadvantage of the woman".

The police first reported that the fire department had received an emergency call early in the morning.

Accordingly, the woman and the man rushed from a balcony on the second floor into the courtyard.
