Dozens demonstrated on Sunday in Khartoum to reject their country's normalization of relations with Israel, and demanded the overthrow of Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok's government.

The protesters gathered in front of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, chanting slogans denouncing Sudan's signature - on October 23 - the "Abraham" agreement for normalization with Israel, under the auspices of the administration of the outgoing US President Donald Trump.

And videos circulating on social media showed the burning of the Israeli flag, as an expression of the protesters' rejection of normalization.

During the demonstration called by the popular forces to resist normalization, the protesters chanted slogans including "The people want to bring down normalization," "The normalization government is down," and "Resignation ... resignation ... Oh, the government of employment."

They also raised banners that read, "The Abraham Agreement ... Secret clauses selling the homeland to Zionism," "Abraham's agreement falls," and "Normalization is a crime ... a betrayal of the Al-Aqsa Al-Sharif."

It is noteworthy that several political and national forces declared their rejection of normalization, including the parties participating in the ruling coalition.

Concurrently, a demonstration took place in central Khartoum to denounce the deteriorating economic conditions, and to demand the departure of the Sudanese government and the components of the transitional authority.
