Hamburg (dpa / lno) - A 21-year-old was seriously injured in a deflagration in an allotment garden club in the Hamburg district of Langenhorn.
According to the police, the man wanted to start a fire in a fire barrel on Saturday afternoon.
Liquids were ignited, as a spokesman reported on Sunday morning.
For an initially unknown cause, there was a deflagration.
The 21-year-old suffered severe burns to his head and upper body.
He was taken to a hospital.
According to the spokesman, there was no mortal danger.
