  According to a statement filed in the District of Columbia Court on the 16th, the arrested man was Wesley A. Beeler, a Victorian resident who was arrested at a security checkpoint less than half a mile from the Capitol. .

He showed an "unauthorized inauguration pass."

  Police officer Roger Dupont said he checked the documents against the list and found that the man’s documents did not allow him to enter the restricted area.

  The police then searched the truck driven by the man and found a Glock pistol with more than 500 bullets in the truck.

  He was charged with five crimes, including possession of weapons and ammunition in Washington without registration.
