17 January 2021 Returning to class is an act of responsibility towards our young people.

In this way, the Minister of Education Lucia Azzolina commented on the evaluations expressed by the Scientific Technical Committee regarding the return to class in the presence of the boys and girls of the High Schools.

Azzolina chose Facebook to express her opinion on what the CTS said: "Today the Technical Scientific Committee met, at the request of the Ministry of Health, to comment on the return to class of high school students, as envisaged by the Government. A very clear opinion emerged.

The CTS recalled that schools have a limited role in transmitting the virus.

He reiterated - is not the first time I say it - that the prolonged absence from school may result in serious consequences in children, for learning and for the emotional and relational sphere. "

In addition, the Education Minister highlighted that" these assessments they represent a clear guide that I hope will guarantee schools and students the certainties they need.
