A goalless draw overshadowed the summit match between Liverpool and its host Manchester United today, Sunday, at "Anfield" in the 19th stage of the English Premier League.

Defending champions Liverpool were the best in terms of possession and offensive pressure for most of the match, but failed to translate their advantage into goals.

Manchester United also failed to take advantage of a number of real scoring opportunities that were available to him, to end the match with a goalless draw and each team came out with one point.

Manchester United maintained its lead, raising its score to 37 points, two points ahead of second-placed Leicester, and Liverpool raised its tally to 34 points in third place, one point ahead of Tottenham, who beat Sheffield United 3-1 earlier today.
