Towards an alliance?
The MEP and likely candidate for the EELV primary in September Yannick Jadot said this Saturday to see with kindness the return to politics of Arnaud Montebourg, believing that it would be useful for the gathering of environmental and left forces to win 2022.
Asked, on the sidelines of a trip to Saint-Maurice (Val-de-Marne), on the former Socialist Minister for Productive Recovery, who launched his “Engagement” movement last week, Yannick Jadot said: “ In the rally to win there will have to be Arnaud Montebourg, Christiane Taubira or (the communist) Fabien Roussel ”.

Despite different options on Europe, the ecologist does not situate the champion of “demondialization” on the same level as the rebellious Jean-Luc Mélenchon, whom he sees being a candidate “whatever happens”: “ He is not anti-European, he did not say that he preferred Putin's Russia to the United States… ”
"Relocation and industrial sovereignty, that's fine with me, we have a common space," added Yannick Jadot.
