Dresden (dpa / sn) - In Saxony, the number of corona infections has risen to over 165,000.
From Friday to Saturday, 1823 new cases were registered, according to the latest figures from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI).
The value of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week is therefore 256. On Friday it was even higher at 274.
The incidence value has also fallen somewhat across Germany and is currently 139. A total of 4982 people have so far died with or from the coronavirus in Saxony - 188 deaths were added within 24 hours.
