Lübeck (dpa / mv) - The northern derby of the 3rd soccer league between VfB Lübeck and FC Hansa Rostock was canceled shortly before kick-off on Saturday (2 p.m.).
“The place at the Lohmühle is frozen as hard as a rock in some places after the frost of the night.
In consultation with Hansa Rostock and our managers, the referees have just canceled the game in view of the risk of injury, ”said host VfB Lübeck on Saturday afternoon via Twitter.
VfB does not have underfloor heating in its stadium, but has received a special permit for the current season from the German Football Association (DFB).
