Two residents in Vollsjö in Sjöbo municipality caught a man in a garage who was in the process of stealing a car.
When they tried to stop the car thief, he drove through the garage door and hit two people who were injured.
The injured did not need ambulance care and should not currently be in immediate need of hospital care according to the police.

After the perpetrator drove out of the garage door, the journey continued in the direction of road 13. The car is said to be an older white manor car and is said to have major damage to the front.
On Saturday night, the police searched for the car thief by helicopter, otherwise they are silent about the incident.
