Prime Minister Armin Rachett Northrhine-Westphalia has been elected as head of Germany's ruling party, the Christian Democratic Party (CDU).

As Prime Minister Rachet, who is known to be backed by German Chancellor Angela Merkel, is elected as a new representative, it is likely that the stance of the 16th year of Merkel will continue.

The German Democratic Party elected Lachett as the new representative in the second round of elections for party representatives held at the party convention on the 16th local time.

In the second election, out of 11 delegates, 521 voted for Lachette and 466 for Friedrich Merz, respectively, winning a majority vote.

As Germany is about to elect a new prime minister in September, following Merkel's 16th year in office, the CDP representative is likely to become the next prime minister of the CSU coalition.

In the current poll, the CDP's party approval rate is 35-37%, which is overwhelmingly higher than the Social Democratic Party (SPD), the Green Party, and the Left Party, so it is also influential as the next prime minister.

The CDP has traditionally constituted the Knights Party and the in-hospital bargaining group, and candidates for the prime minister have been elected within the CDP, which is largely a majority.

However, political analysis is that this time, becoming the party's representative does not guarantee the candidate's position for the Prime Minister of the Citizen/Kisadang Alliance.

There is also a possibility that Marcus Sinder, the leader of the Knights Party, who is leading the next prime minister in the polls, along with Spane, will be the candidate for prime minister.

President of the Federal House of Representatives Wolfgang Schouble, who is considered an elder in the Citizens-Kisas Party Alliance, and Ralph Brinkhouse's head of the House, have been citing health ministers such as Spane as candidates.
