Hamburg (dpa / lno) - The number of new corona infections confirmed in Hamburg increased by 378 on Saturday.
That's 25 more than on Saturday a week ago.
On Friday there were only 279 new cases.
The health authority had stated that Friday's number may not be complete.
Because of a software update, it could be that some cases were not taken into account.
These would then be added on Saturday.
The seven-day incidence was 118.5, the previous day it was slightly less at 117.2.
A week ago, the seven-day incidence was 155.0.
According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the number of deaths in connection with the corona virus rose by 13 to 895 (as of Friday).
According to the Hamburg authorities, a total of 42,733 people have been proven to have been infected with the corona virus since the outbreak of the pandemic in the Hanseatic city.
According to RKI estimates, 33,800 of them are considered recovered.
In Hamburg hospitals, 523 corona patients were treated as inpatients on Friday, 16 fewer than the day before.
There were 92 Covid 19 sufferers in the intensive care units, one less than the day before.
