The municipality of Olofström has chosen to take measures through suspension and reporting to the police when an employee has been at work while he had symptoms and awaited test results for covid-19.
The employee was employed in the social administration.
- We take what has happened seriously and have therefore chosen to lay off the employee without pay.
We have also reported to the police what has happened as he has exposed others to the risk of infection, says head of administration Robert Schelin.
The municipality considers that what has happened is considered to be a unique case and that the risk of it happening again is low.
