Norran was the first to report on the news.

WPD writes on its website that investigations carried out by the wind turbine's manufacturer, Danish Vestas, concluded that the blade could come loose from the hub because the attachment to certain blades, which came from a specific production cycle, had failed.

According to the company, all wind turbines in the park are affected and have been taken out of operation as they have one or more blades with the same configuration as on the damaged turbine.

Vestas will now replace and repair the blades.
