Clémentine Autain candidate designated by LFI in the regional elections for Île-de-France, considers it necessary to hold this ballot before the presidential election and wants to embody the "rally" on the left facing the outgoing Valérie Pécresse (Libres !, ex-LR ), she told LCP on Friday.

"We must organize" sanitary "conditions for these elections to take place," she said because "to do without democracy in such a crisis" is "really not desirable".

Initially scheduled for March, the departmental and regional elections have already been postponed to June due to the health context.

The rebellious deputy advocates "a gathering of rebels, communists, actors and actresses of the social movement" and, "beyond", against Valérie Pécresse, a candidate "well to the right" of which she castigates "the obsession of the competitiveness".

Before declaring himself officially, Clémentine Autain awaits the decision of the Communists to make an alliance or not.

The PCF in Île-de-France confirmed to AFP to hold a regional conference this weekend to decide on its electoral strategy.

Asked about the other lists on the left, the candidate dubbed by LFI but not yet declared highlighted her proximity to Julien Bayou, head of the environmental list with whom, she said, "we are discussing".

On the other hand, she underlines the distances taken by the probable candidate of the PS Audrey Pulvar, with whom it is "difficult to discuss" and who proposes "a gathering without rebellious", a "curious approach".

The latest poll to date, carried out by Harris-Interactive gives the ecological (15%) and socialist (14%) lists ahead of the rebellious one (9%) while Valérie Pécresse runs away in the lead (30%), followed at a distance by Jean- Michel Blanquer, potential candidate for LREM (16%).

The RN, potentially represented by Jordan Bardella, is tied with Audrey Pulvar (14%).
