Now is the last week before the old bathhouse in Köping is closed for good.
All furnishings must be removed, the pools emptied and the premises left completely empty.
- Nobody still knows what will happen to these premises at the moment.
An investigation is underway in the municipality, says Marie Brohlin.
She has worked at the bathhouse since 1984 and for her it feels both melancholy and fun at the same time that Karlbergsbadet's era is now over.
- I will remember this place with warmth.
At the same time, I am very much looking forward to our new bathhouse, which will open as soon as the pandemic is over, she says.
