Halle (dpa / sa) - A 48-year-old refused to wear a face mask on the tram in Halle and hit a police officer.
As the police announced on Friday, the man was on Thursday evening without a face mask and ticket in the tram in Halle.
When other passengers pointed out the missing face mask, he got out.
At the bus stop he met inspectors and became aggressive so that the police were called.
After beating one of the police officers, he was temporarily arrested.
The police have now started investigations into assaulting law enforcement officers.
