Finkenthal (dpa / mv) - In a game accident involving a deer, a car driver on the B 110 near Finkenthal (Rostock district) had a fatal accident.
The 25-year-old suffered such serious injuries on Friday afternoon that he died at the scene of the accident, the police said.
A transporter had previously collided with the deer when it crossed the lane.
As a result, the animal was thrown onto the 25-year-old's oncoming car, whereupon the latter came off the road and drove into a ditch.
According to the police, the driver of the transporter suffered a shock and had to receive medical care on site.
The B 110 was at times completely closed.
