Halle / Saale (dpa / lnw) - The Federal Cultural Foundation is supporting eleven new projects in North Rhine-Westphalia with a total of almost 1.7 million euros.

With a grant of 240,000 euros, the largest amount goes to a literary project at Hülshoff Castle in the Münsterland, the birthplace of the poet Annette von Droste-Hülshoff, as the foundation announced on Thursday in Halle.

In Münster the LWL-Landesmuseum receives 235,000 euros for an exhibition on alternatives to growth-oriented capitalism.

A cooperation between the Bonner Kunstverein and the Museion Bozen in South Tyrol, a project on the colonial heritage in Düsseldorf and the Cologne music festival Eight Bridges are funded.

In a special program for digital formats, six other projects are supported, including in museums and memorials.
