The showdown is over.

"An operation to evacuate the illicitly occupied places has been carried out," the police headquarters said in a statement.

Early Wednesday afternoon, some police officers were in front of the door of the establishment, rented by the owners of the restaurant Le Petit Cambodge, where 15 people had been killed in the attacks of November 13, 2015, while lawyers and bailiffs carried out an inventory, according to an AFP journalist.

According to the lawyer for the restaurant, those present notably noted the presence of tags on the walls and the degradation of certain electrical installations.

On January 4, the Paris court ordered the evacuation of the premises within 48 hours, under penalty of a fine of 150 euros per day of delay, in an interim order.
