It was the missing link.

After the extension of line 14 to Saint-Ouen (Seine-Saint-Denis) inaugurated last December, the Porte de Clichy “Tribunal de Paris” station, in the 17th arrondissement, serving the new tribunal, will open its doors to travelers next January 28, confirmed to

, the RATP.

Located between Pont Cardinet and Saint-Ouen, this station was unable to open during the inauguration, due to work still in progress.

But eventually, a date was found.

Line 14 will thus be 27 kilometers long.

And its attendance is expected to drop from 550,000 travelers per day - before the coronavirus pandemic - to one million.

Designed to relieve line 13 and serve booming neighborhoods, this extension was greeted with great fanfare in December.

Some users have been waiting for this opening for years.

The commissioning of this section of 5.8 km between Saint-Lazare and Mairie de Saint-Ouen "goes in the direction of history", had estimated on the spot the Prime Minister, Jean Castex.
