On January 12, local time, New York Governor Cuomo announced that the population eligible for the new crown vaccine at this stage will be expanded to the New York population aged 65 and above.

However, due to the current shortage of vaccines, many medical institutions responsible for vaccination work simply have no time to take care of the new population.

According to Chen Zhinian, chairman of the New York Harmonious Community Medical Alliance, the local Chinese community's new crown vaccination system has been "full of appointments, more than ten times."

"Too much demand, insufficient supply" is the biggest problem encountered.
